The winds were cold but delicious. Accompanied by the restless Little Grey, Drebin was stationed in the midst of activity. Five garrulous soldiers were leaving his makeshift shop, sharing what they had just purchased. Guns were no different from trading cards and action figures, all shared in the arms of soldiers! “Nice to see I can be of some use to these people,” the dealer declared, sharing his thoughts with a triumphant Little Grey. Just moments ago, the monkey opened opened up his ninth can of Narc Cola. Drebin might’ve been determined to quit, but he wasn’t. How could he give up priceless cans of Cola? That would be like giving up air! But Drebin didn’t think so.

While he sipped on what was supposed to be his last can, Drebin found his mind occupied by something else. It wasn’t the mountain of profits, the fun of gun laundering, or the smell of ammunition. It was something rather surprising. Something he thought he’d never have on his mind. It was the face of a friend-a friend he treated with immense respect. The installation of a friend’s face came after he declared his neutral state. He chose not to side with any team, only working to grab as much profit as he could. It was a dog-eat-dog world, as he put it. His friend chose not to believe his stance on things, adding one title to his self-made list. He was no longer just a gun launderer, but…

…a friend. A friend to Solid “Old” Snake.

Did that happen because of Naomi’s betrayal? Did Snake call him a friend because of Naomi’s deceptive nature? Neither Drebin or Naomi were easy to figure out, but the weapons dealer hadn’t done Snake any harm. Naomi intentionally positioned herself near Snake’s family, and used both of his family members for information. Her first target was Otacon, who was already vulnerable to the smallest sign of weakness. Once she discovered Sunny’s handle on things, she moved closer to the little maiden. Sunny welcomed her into her life, but was wary of Naomi’s treatment towards Daddy (formerly known as Stenbuck). On a particularly painful night, Otacon opened himself to the little girl-with a bit of reluctance. He NEVER liked to worry the maiden, but Snake’s impending death struck him like a brick. He broke down before his self-made computer station, succumbing to every last one of his burdens. Sunny rushed to comfort him, and learned every last one of his stories. Betraying her tender age, she ordered the reluctant otaku to share every bit of his pain. Naomi’s death supplied him with a great deal of pain, and that drove stakes deep into Old Snake’s soul. He didn’t admit it, but Naomi’s usage of Otacon’s sensitive heart annoyed the living daylights out of him. Her parting words were almost hilarious. How could she claim to love Hal when she wasn’t even out for Liquid’s benefit?

 Or was she?

Now, Is That The Way to Win?

Posted in Christianity, atheism, atheist, gay marriage, gay rights, homosexuality, relationships, same-sex marriage, spirituality, the Holy Bible on June 2, 2009 by ladyachika

The recent surges in religious freedom are shocking, but that’s in an amazing way. The rise in freedom shall not be described as ‘appalling’. I am surprised to see that so many people, authors and bloggers included, feel brave enough to unleash their beliefs. I, for one, am immensely proud of them, and hope they’ll experience nothing but the best in life. I do not blame them for the choices they have made, for this civilization has not done God any favors. I guess you could consider my beliefs to be weird, if you remember my undying love for the Father, but I completely understand why people have turned away from Him-and haven’t looked back.

In a post that’s been particularly famous (or infamous, if that’s what you’d prefer), several comments have used the Bible to retaliate against a new atheist’s beliefs. I fail to understand why Bible thumpers feel the need to shove their beliefs in front of other people’s faces-and that’s one way to turn potential believers off. If you’re trying to prove an argument in God’s favor, I don’t think shoving the Bible (or any other form of your belief) down another’s throat is going to assist your cause. The one you’re trying to convert will just wrinkle their nose and say: see? That’s why I don’t want anything to do with this! You people are just so stuffy and self-righteous!

Lately, so-called normal marriages have been suffering. Couples stop having sex, couples fall apart due to financial problems/child problems/infidelity/boredom, and spouses just like to run amuck with promiscuity. On a radio show, a woman called in and said her child was a burden. A mistake! Nothing but an obstacle preventing her from reaching her dreams. And mind you, she was calling in to a Christian radio show. But it doesn’t end there. People keep themselves locked in a doomed marriage, because they glue themselves to the values of matrimony found in the Bible. A Christian radio station said God hates marriage. Thus, the extreme amount of those that keep themselves in doomed marriages.

Is all of this really fair? Is it fair for someone to claim a gay person as a friend, when they’re completely against their lifestyle? Is it fair for someone of organized religion to claim friendship with a gay person, only to end up shunning them because of what they are? Is it fair to say that homosexuals will only gain access to Heaven IF they don’t act on their homosexuality? Does that make any sense to you, I ask? It certainly doesn’t make any sense to me. Why claim gayness if you’re only going to mask it? Why are people only looking to God for an insurance plan?

Why why why why? Once again, I say this. It’s no wonder so many people refuse to believe.

Reflections on the Obama Admin, Discrimination and Direction

~Thursday, May 28th~

Today I also discovered how a part of the gay community doesn’t have faith in the Obama Adminstration. While it’s not a tremendous part of the community, it is still a part-and all members of a family are important. Obama may have promised to assist the gay/lesbian communities in the past, but those promises may have fallen by the wayside. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have fallen out of the picture permanently. Obama is, without a doubt, a charming and loveable character. And his adminstration seems to be harmless. However, the latest issue of The Advocate stated that the Clinton Adminstration promised to assist the gay community-and those promises evidently fell flat. The only thing that came from that adminstration was the horrid ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy.

Obama may mean well, but one can easily argue: there are much bigger problems at hand. ‘Look at the economy,’ one can say. ‘Look at violence/money/our government/other stuff!’. That’s all fine and dandy (not), but in essence, that’s just saying: ‘you guys aren’t important. We need to leave you behind, in order to focus on the bigger things. You guys are small.’ And unfortunately, for the record, my mother is of the ‘there are bigger problems than homophobia’ mind set.

Aren’t they on Earth too? Or are they living on a separate planet?

As for traditional marriage, its so-called values are in constant danger. Couples are forcing themselves to stay married, just so they can uphold the traditional values of Christianity. Sex is rampant and chaotic, in all the worst ways. Some couples stop having sex, for they fall out of love. A radio show had to speak of a workshop that promotes flirting between spouses!

Sheesh. It’s no wonder so many non-believers exist. And I’m not just speaking of the evolution supporters.

Reflections of Rising Loss

~May 28th, Thursday~

I took a trip with my mother to Barnes and Nobles today. On this pleasant (yet hot) day, I happened to stumble upon a staggering display. Just several days prior to this post, I read an article about how non-believers (those that chose not to believe in God) are elevating in numbers. Right at the forefront, for everyone to see, Barnes and Nobles placed books on the same topic: non-believers. Those particular books supported atheism, and arguments against Christianity/the Bible. While the display was a little shocking to see, it wasn’t surprising.

In my post ‘On the Rise’, I spoke of my support towards non-believers. Once again, I do apologize for giving birth to anger and misunderstandings. I did not mean to mock or insult those that believe in evolution. I should have refrained from instilling any potentially offensive comments, especially since I believe in the idea of world peace. And anyone could easily take my spirituality and declare themselves offended, claiming that I’m using my faith against those that believe in Darwin, or any other beacon of evolution. I am duly apologetic, and won’t let it happen again. However, that was not the heart of the post.

Non-believers, atheists in particular, are taking a firm stand against organized religion-Christianity in particular. I do acknowledge those that support evolution, and I acknowledge them w/o stomping on them. Please heed those words and remember them. I would appreciate it IMMENSELY! Getting back on track, other non-believers are displeased/disgusted with God and the Holy Bible. They’re not happy with the Bible, for it has been used as a weapon in countless occassions. It has been utilized as a weapon of hatred/scorn/damnation towards homosexuals on countless occassions, especially during the Prop 8 War. And is it any surprise that Prop 8 was upheld in California?

Non-believers are on the rise. While I love the Holy Father with all of my heart, I support those that are angry/disgusted/indifferent towards God. I definitely support/understand those that are against the Bible. In addition to that, I do not consider myself Christian. That particular group has a tendency to use not only God, but the Bible as a violent weapon-especially against gays. People are probably turned away from God by the thousands every day, and it’s all because His name is misused. And let’s not forget: the Bible was NOT written by God Himself. He didn’t take a pen/keyboard, write down His teachings, and say: here, kids. Follow my teachings and everything will be all right!

And isn’t unfair to uphold traditional marriage, when dating isn’t even done right? I’m not referring to what side plays the most tennis, either. There is always going to be promiscuity, as long as there is uncertainty and insecurities. Straight couples don’t have the right to be so viciously cruel against gay couples, because they’ve crushed the so-called sanctity of marriage left and right. Sex is treated as an immense joke. Both men AND women cheat. Men and women rape. Families fall apart. Divorces are all too common. People can easily take up arms and say: ‘there are good men/women out there’, ’some couples stay married longer than five minutes’, and ’some people are cherish sex’. Good for them. I salute them, just as I salute the Christians that actually uphold peace, and would NEVER condone hatred in God’s name. They perform awesome feats. As a whole, though, Christianity and traditional marriage have been ravaged. Just look at celebrities. Visit Myspace. Once again, another place for rare gems. On a whole, the networking site has been annihilated.

In mere minutes, I have attained a few razzled comments on my ‘On the Rise’ entry. The first comment stated how offensive my statements against evolution were, while the second one was clearly uncomfortable with my last statements on values. First off, I did not mean for any of my statements to be offensive. I should have withheld my comments on those that believe in evolution, and I shall treat its supporters with greater maturity in the future. If I truly wish to support the idea of world peace, I must acknowledge all comments-whether harsh or gentle-with the benevolence of a leader.

In response to the second comment, the creator of that comment evidently skipped over the meat of the post. The comment stated how offensive I was towards atheists, claiming I attributed pure and holy values only to Christians. I bear no ill will against those that choose not to believe in the Holy Father. Once again, I bear no ill will against those that choose not to believe in the Holy Father. I believe in God with every fiber of my being, but I do not consider myself Christian.

To explain my absence of Christian status, I feel that form of organized religion has been thoroughly degraded. I’m not just speaking of the oldest forms of ‘God’ abuse (slavery, witch hunts, old time women abuse, etc). I’m referring to the modern abuse of God’s name, all done to justify acts of destruction-and even death. A young man saw fit to gun down homosexuals in a gay club-claiming to be a soldier of God. Priest Jerry Falwell claimed it was all right for a straight man to cheat, but it was an unforgivable sin for a man to cheat with another man. Shouldn’t cheating be a crime, regardless of the participants? Shouldn’t it be considered horrible, whether you’re cheating with a man, woman, rock or donkey? Should gender really be used to justify cheating? Should it be all right to say that God actually hates gays/blacks/Jews/rocks/ants/etc? Is it all right to say that God, a being of eternal love, hates ANYTHING? Is it right for the White House to attach God to their duties, and stand out as horrendously corrupt? That might change, due to the Obama Adminstration, but the national government has been pretty unstable. Just examine the Bush Administration.

To those that claim Christianity, and support peace, you have my thanks. There are those that wouldn’t use God’s name to condone hatred (in any form, degree or shape), and you have my everlasting salute. I am not cementing Christians as all-powerful, just saints. Those outside of the Christian faith can easily support the values of peace, love and acceptance. So that’s in response to the comment I received, claiming I alienated atheists from purity. As a whole, Christianity has been massacred beyond repair. So they aren’t safe from the venomous weaknesses of humanity, just because they claim their faith. As I said before, anyone outside of the Christian faith-or outside of any faith-can easily bear a pure heart of gold. I salute those individiuals as well. I do not blame non-believers for feeling the way they do, for the world fails to paint a pretty picture of the Holy Father. Dr. Charles Stanley’s InTouch booklet painted God to be a hypocrite at one point, for it featured two opposing articles. One article happily claimed that God wants us to be unhappy, as long as we uphold our duties (marriage responsibilities, in particular). Another stated that God brings about miracles, and changes lives for the better. Articles of the latter have been printed ever since. But if I showed someone the ‘God wants you to be unhappy’ article, wouldn’t that give them the right to turn away and say ‘yuck’? Isn’t that portrait of God responsible for transforming marriage (traditional marriage) into a bland, stone-cold portrait of lifeless events?

InTouch isn’t the only thing responsible for displaying God as a hypocrite. So many have had the audacity to carry God’s banner, but in their eyes, God’s love is exclusive. Heaven is only for those that carry certain membership cards. Thus, the exclusion of gays from Heaven-right along with everyone else that breaks a single rule out of the Bible. If we’re going to play things on a technical note, the only ones going to Heaven are babies, animals and people that live under rocks. According to the Bible, lying is a bad thing. In whatever words you wish to put it, in whatever terms you wish to use, lying is pretty much a crime. And don’t little kids lie at such early ages?

For the fifth millionth time, the Bible was not constructed by God Himself. Unless someone can give FIRM, SOLID proof of God writing the Bible HIMSELF, I will believe that Santa Claus exists before accepting the invincible status of the Bible. So does that make me anti-Bible? Am I anti-God, regardless of the statements I have made? No. I am not against the Holy Father, as I adore Him with every fiber of my being. I believe in the Bible’s heroes and heroines. Most of all, I believe in the words that speak of God’s unfailing love. No matter how many translations are done, the Bible will never lose God’s unbreakable heart. The words of His love have not yet been changed, and I fail to believe they’ll ever be changed-even if a million additional versions of the Bible are created. PLEASE HEED THOSE WORDS.

‘How can you claim to believe in God, but support homosexuals?’ you may ask. Well, tread back to my statements on the Bible. In addition to that, I believe God means for all of us to live in love. Pure, unconditional, unrestrained, no-questions-asked love. Whether we’re gay or straight. I don’t believe God’s love is exclusive. He isn’t just out for the self-righteous, banner-toting Christians. He sheds his love upon all of us, regardless of what we are. We are all His Children!

My family has recently fallen in love with The Tudors, Showtime’s greatest hit (at least in our eyes). In one of the episodes concerning King Henry’s annulment, two priests fought bitterly against one another. One stood passionately for his beliefs, while the other pretty much shot him down. That may just be a television show (although brilliantly written), that made me think of reality. As of right now, priests are battling one another over same-sex marriage. Some priests allow it, with several of them ending up in police custody. Others are in danger of losing their positions. Some have actually lost their positions. It saddens me to think of how members of Holy Orders can duke it out, and they’re all supposed to be followers of the Holy Faith.

I hope I’ve cleared things up for now. I’ll post an entry like this every now and then, just to create an extra barrier against the ‘how dare you?! You insulted me, you flaming wretch!!’ comments in the future.

On the Rise

Posted in Christianity, atheism, atheist, religion, the Holy Bible on May 26, 2009 by ladyachika

I just read a newspaper article that mentions non-believers are on the rise. Non-believers are those that choose not to believe in God. That news didn’t shock me then, and it doesn’t shock me now. Not all atheists believe we emerged from Tinkerbell’s pixie dust. Those of that mindset are probably in the minority. People choose not to accept the Holy Father because of what humanity has done. The problems with gay marriage are probably just tips of the iceberg. Seth McFarlane is a perfect example of how non-believers are. He’s a self-proclaimed atheist because of the way a gay family member was treated, all under the name of God.

Am I against those that don’t follow the Holy Father? Nope. Not at all. I think the ones that believe we evolved from monkeys are a teensy bit weird, but as for those that are indifferent/angry/confused? I have nothing against them. I don’t blame them. Humanity hasn’t done the Holy Father any favors. The treatment against the gay community is just a small example, and that’s saying a lot, considering people have killed gays in the name of God.

Update: May 26th, 1:10 pm

I just received a comment from a disgruntled reader. That reader was evidently uncomfortable with my statements regarding atheists and monkeys. I am duly sorry for ruffling any feathers, and should not have interjected my personal opinion on those that believe we evolved from monkeys, fairies, butterflies, ‘ape-like creatures’ or otherwise. It was not my place to do so. And it was certainly not the point of the post! I bear no venomous anger against anyone. I had no intention of mocking anything. I am horribly sorry for ruffling that particular person’s feathers, and will take great care to refrain from interjecting such opinions in the future.

In addition to that, I forever give kudos to the Christians that truly support peace, love and unity. To those that dwell in either America or different nations, I salute you. You uphold the true values of God brilliantly. Love and peace are the gems that matter, regardless of what humanity holds! May we look forward to the day all labels are tossed off, and people can live together!

Lots of love, Aurora

Traditional Marriage Upheld

Posted in Human Rights Campaign, Proposition 8, gay marriage, gay rights, homosexuality, recent news, same-sex marriage on May 26, 2009 by ladyachika

Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my attention that Prop 8 has been upheld. And I have one thing to say about that: I’M NOT SURPRISED! Wow! That’s just as surprising as going to McDonald’s, and expecting to receive a hamburger with your Hamburger Value Meal! Was there any doubt of it being upheld, by those that hold so strongly to the so-called sanctity of traditional marriage?! I didn’t think so. There was no doubt for me whatsoever. Lo and behold, I turned out to be quite accurate. The proposition has been upheld (yawn), and discrimination will continue.

Dear friends, I thank you for following my thoughts. While I give no credit to the US Government, and to this nation as a whole, I endow my hopes to those that seek several things: peace, justice and love. My heart will forever support those that pursue those gems, in the hopes of seeing our great world-not just our nation-blossom someday.

May all of this horrible discrimination come to an end someday. And rest assured, I will do my part to end it.

Another Quick Thing.

Posted in boyfriends, girls, relationships on May 15, 2009 by ladyachika

Another thing. I am 22 years of age. When most people (males and females) are either married or happily promiscuous by this age, I don’t have a single kiss to my name. I don’t have a single boyfriend, let alone a crush, to my name. And you know what?

I’m pretty damn proud of it. Look at the state of dating, sex and marriage in this nation. You’ll really understand my status.

One Quick Thing.

Posted in Human Rights Campaign, Proposition 8, gay marriage, gay rights, homosexuality, religion, same-sex marriage on May 15, 2009 by ladyachika

One more thing before I leave. On the HRC Campaign’s website, I read how one man was beaten then left inside of his trunk to die. All because he was-you guessed it-a FAG! Yay! (confetti falls from the ceiling, balloons rise into the air). Whoppee! One less cockroach for the world to worry about! Wasn’t nice of the assailants to kill him?! Oh, I think so. They put the fag out of his misery, and you know what else? The article didn’t state their religious beliefs, but I can safely assume the assailants believed in God! Extra YAY!

Even now, people are quick to use God’s name as justification for injustice. People use it to justify horrid acts against the homosexual community. People use it to uphold marriage. Speaking of, marriage has become a viciously horrible joke. There are those that treat it well. There are those that have been married for eons, and cherish the mere thought of their mate’s name. As a whole, though, the mere idea of marriage is worthy of a thousand laughs.

Well, traditional marriage is, anyways.

I’m not pointing at one side for playing ping pong. I’m not accusing straight people of being the only ones to play ping pong. I’m not saying that gay people are all pristine when it comes to relationship records, and straight people are the only careless ones. Both sides play ping pong, so don’t get me wrong. It’s just wrong for hetereosexual people to condemn gay people to eternal alienation, when they’ve done so much damage to everything they’re supposed to be protecting.

So much for living in a land of freedom.
